Hello there, thank you for visiting my site! My name is Stephanie Nembhard, I am a portrait and lifestyle photographer located in Northern Virginia. I am married to my best friend, and together we have two very energetic boys, and two loving fur babies. 

I have always enjoyed taking pictures, ever since disposable cameras were a thing. After becoming a mother, my interest in photography grew and my Canon was always present to capture all those precious moments of my little ones! As a teacher, I have always had a passion for learning new things. In my teacher capacity, I truly enjoy working with children. Working with children on a daily basis has equipped me with the tools needed to interact with and photograph children of various ages and personalities.  In combination with my thirst for continued knowledge, experience working with children, and becoming a mother, I sought out to find a new outlet to  fuel my creativity. Photography is fulfilling in many ways, it allows me to connect with amazing families in the area, witness little ones develop, be a part of my clients' lives, and watch the happiness my photos bring to my clients. My style is timeless, light, airy, and people-centered. Moreover, I enjoy capturing candid interactions and authentic moments of love, laughter, and joy. 

When I am not behind my camera, I enjoy going on nature walks, dancing to Latin music in my kitchen while cooking, adding travel destinations to my  bucket list,  spending time perusing the aisles of Home Goods, or cuddling  up on the sofa with my family to watch a Disney movie.
